Rosemary
A
compound in rosemary may prevent or reduce the severity of Alzheimer's, Lou
Gehrig's disease, and stroke. The carnosic acid in this herb fights free
radicals, the naturally occurring molecules that damage cells (including
those in the brain) and that increase as we age. In the works: a carnosic-acid-based
drug that could either stop or slow neurological diseases and mental
decline, including memory loss.
